Yael Grobglas is an Israeli Jewish actress. She was born in Paris, to an Austrian mother, Eva (Rosner), and a French father, Jean Pierre Grobglas. When she was three years old, her family moved to Israel and settled in Ra’anana.
Some websites of unclear reliability (Wikipedia, etc.) state that Yael’s mother is a convert to Judaism. It is not clear if this is accurate.
Yael’s patrilineal line can be traced back to Eli/Eliasz Grobglas, who was born c. 1780.
Yael’s paternal grandparents are Joël/Jules Grobglas (the son of Shmil/Szmul/Samuel Grobglas and Kajla/Haila Liberman) and Marie Louise Dardennes. Shmil was born in Warsaw, Poland. Kajla was born in Lodz, Poland, and was killed in the Holocaust in 1943.
