Michael Malarkey is a British-American actor and singer. He is known for starring in the series The Vampire Diaries. His father, James Michael Malarkey, is an American, of Irish and German descent. His mother, Nadia, is British, of Arab and Italian origin. The family settled in in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Michael’s paternal grandparents were Robert Murray Malarkey (the son of Timothy Bertram Malarkey and Martha Angela Savage) and Rosemary Cornelia Widmeyer (the daughter of George Francis or Robert Widmeyer and Cornelia Anna Riehle).
On his mother’s side, Michael is the grandson of Suheil Bushrui and Mary Ellul. Suheil was born in Nazareth, Palestine (now Israel), and was of the Baha’i religion. Mary is from Brindisi, Apulia, Italy.
