Michael Nesmith is an American musician, songwriter, composer, actor, director, producer, writer, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the guitarist of the rock band The Monkees. Michael is the son of Bette/Betty Clair (McMurray) and Warren Audrey Nesmith.
