Nehe Milner-Skudder is a New Zealand rugby union player. He was a key member of 2015 Rugby World Cup winning team.
Nehe is the son of Richard Skudder and Heneriata Milner. Nehe’s uncle, George Skudder, played 1 Test with the All Blacks. Nehe’s mother is a Māori-speaker.
On his father’s side, Nehe is the grandson of Alamoti Skudder (the son of Stanley Benjamin Skudder and Mele Talia Tupou/Tupou Tiki) and Maatha Wihapi. Alamoti’s parents were from Mu’a and Atatã Island, both in Tonga. Stanley was the son of George Charles Skudder and Mary Louisa Cocker; Mary Louisa descended from Joshua Cocker and Elizabeth Lobley, an English couple who moved to Tonga in the middle of 1800s. Nehe’s grandmother Maatha was from Rangiuru, New Zealand.
