Robert DeLeo is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. He is the bass player and backing vocalist of the rock band Stone Temple Pilots. Robert is the son of Virginia Marie (Jones) and Emile John DeLeo. His brother is fellow band member Dean DeLeo.
Robert’s paternal grandparents were Giuseppe Di Leo (the son of Pietro Di Leo and Maria Rosa Lisanti) and Rosina Lepore (the daughter of Paolo Lepore and Maria Zitarosa). Robert’s grandparents Giuseppe and Rosina were Italian immigrants from Buccino, Italy.
