Italian researchers have discovered that Oscar-nominated film director Franco Zeffirelli is related to Leonardo, through the marriage between Michelangelo di Tommaso Corsi, a Zeffirelli’s ancestor, and Teresa Alessandra Giovanna di Ser Antonio Giuseppe Da Vinci, a descendant of Leonardo’s father.
