Jian Ghomeshi is a British-born Canadian musician, writer, and former CBC radio broadcaster. He was also a member of Canadian folk-pop band Moxy Früvous.
Jian was born in Hillingdon, Middlesex, England, to Iranian parents, Azar (Sara) and Farhang (Frank) Ghomeshi. He moved to Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, with his parents and sister, Jila, at the age of seven.
