Family Background: André Ayew, also known as Dede Ayew, is a French-born Ghanaian professional footballer.
André is the second-born son of three-time African Footballer of the Year Abedi “Pele” Ayew and of his wife Maha. His half-brother, Ibrahim Ayew, and brother, Jordan Ayew, also are professional footballers.
André’s maternal grandfather, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Khaldi, was a Lebanese Muslim.
