Laura Põldvere is an Estonian singer. She will represent Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, along with Koit Toome. She previously represented in 2005 as part of the girl group Suntribe, but failed to qualify in the semi-finals.
She is the daughter of Martina (Pihela) and Ailar Põldvere. She was married to jazz pianist Joel-Rasmus Remmel.
Laura’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her eighth great-grandfather, Elias, of Vadi, Avinurme Parish, Ida-Viru County.
