Roxane Mesquida is a French actress and model. Roxane was born in Marseille, and raised in Le Pradet, France.
Roxane’s biological father, whom she met for the first time at the age of twenty, was Italian.
Roxane’s mother is writer Françoise “Fanny” Mesquida. Françoise is a Pied-Noir Algerian, of French and Spanish descent. People of French and other European ancestry who lived in French North Africa were known as Pieds-Noirs (literally Black Feet).
Roxane’s maternal grandparents were Alfred Mesquida and Jeannine Gaudriau/Gautriau.
