Carroll Baker is an American actress. She is the daughter of Grtrude/Virginia (Duffy) and William Watson Baker.
There are claims on the internet that Carroll is of Polish descent. It is not clear if this is accurate. Her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in Virginia.
Carroll’s maternal grandmother, Gertrude or Daisy, was born in Virginia, to Virginia-born parents.
Carroll converted to Judaism when she married acting teacher and director Jack Garfein in 1955. They divorced in 1969.
