Gitanas Nausėda is a Lithuanian economist, politician and banker. He has served as the 9th President of Lithuania, since 12 July 2019.
He is the son of Ona Stasė (Končiutė) Nausėdienė and Antanas Nausėda. President Nausėda is married to business manager Diana Nepaitė, with whom he has two children.
President Nausėda’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to his third great-grandfather, Simonas Nausėda (c. 1785 – 18 February 1833).
