A DNA test, performed on the television series Finding Your Roots, with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2014), stated that Gloria is of approximately 59% European and 38% African ancestry.
Gloria’s paternal grandparents were Henry Emmanuel Reuben (the son of Isaac Reuben and Judith Samuel) and Florence Gabay (the daughter of John Edmund Gabay and Amelia).
