Samuel West is an English actor. He is the son of actors Timothy West (Timothy Lancaster West) and Prunella Scales (born Prunella Margaret Rumney Illingworth).
Samuel’s paternal grandparents were Lockwood West (an actor, born Harry Lockwood West, to Henry Cope West and Mildred Hartley) and Eileen Olive Carleton-Crowe (the daughter of Christopher William Carlton-Crowe and Clara Marie). Christopher was born in Ireland.
Samuel’s maternal grandparents were John Richardson Illingworth (the son of Charles Rumney Illingworth and Jessie Richardson) and Catherine Scales (the daughter of Walter Henry Scales and Edith Emily).
