DJ Muggs is an American DJ and music producer. He is a member of the hip-hop group Cypress Hill along with B-Real, Sen Dog, and Eric Bobo.
He has one child. He and his family moved to Bell Gardens, Los Angeles when he was fourteen years old.
His mother, Mary Ann Foglio, was born in Naples, Italy. His maternal grandparents, Dominick Foglio and Francesca/Frances Cavassi, were also born in Naples. Francesca was the daughter of John Cavassi and Christine Muzzillo.
Muggs’ legal name was changed to Lawrence Muggerud after his mother remarried to Dallas Muggerud who was of Norwegian descent.
Many sources state that Muggs is also of Cuban descent but this has not been verified.
