He previously wrestled with independent promotions worldwide, including Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), and Progress Wrestling; and with the WWE’s NXT UK brand, the primary NXT brand, and SmackDown. He has also been known as Big Daddy Walter, Big Van Walter, Gha-cha-ping, WALTER, and Walter Hahn.
He is married to English professional wrestler Jinny (born Jinny Sandhu).
