Parker Stevenson is an American actor. He is known for starring on the shows The Hardy Boys in the 1970s and Baywatch, in the films A Separate Peace, Our Time, Lifeguard (1976), Stroker Ace, and Stitches, and in the made-for-tv movies This House Possessed and Not of This Earth (1995).
He is the son of Sarah Meade (Price), an actress, and Richard Stevenson Parker, an investment advisor, and is from an upper-class family, with many notable ancestors. Parker was partly raised in Rye, New York. He is married to celebrity chef Lisa Schoen. Parker has two children, who are adopted, with his former wife, actress Kirstie Alley.
Parker’s paternal grandfather was Henry Seabury Parker (the son of Henry Ainsworth Parker and Mary Seabury). Parker’s grandfather Henry was born in North Conway, Carroll, New Hampshire. Parker’s great-grandfather Henry was the son of William Ainsworth Parker, whose grandfather fought in the Revolutionary War, and of Mary Iddings. Parker’s paternal grandmother was Marion Stevenson (the daughter of Richard Wilson Stevenson and Mattie C. Hutchison). Marion was born in New Rochelle, Westchester, New York. Richard was the son of Richard Wilson Stevenson/Stephenson and Eleanor/Ellen Leah Duryee. Mattie was the daughter of Joseph Chrisman Hutchison and Susan H. Benedict.
Parker’s maternal grandfather was Philip Price (the son of Eli Kirk Price and Evelyn Taylor). Philip was born in Pennsylvania. Eli was the son of John Sergeant Price and Sallie A. Baker. Evelyn was the daughter of Joseph Hancock Taylor and Mary Montgomery Meigs.

Through this line, Parker’s first cousin, three times removed, was diplomat Leland B. Harrison, who was U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, and Minister to Sweden, Uruguay, Romania, and Switzerland. Parker’s great-grandmother Margaretta was the daughter of John Baldwin Large and Sarah Wise Meade. Sarah Meade was the daughter of Union Army General George Gorden Meade, who was born in Cádiz, Spain, to American parents, from Pennsylvania.
