Doda, is a Polish singer, producer, actress and television personality. She is a three-time winner of the MTV Europe Music Award and is one of the most successful Polish artists in terms of the number of awards she has won. She has received numerous certificates from the Polish Phonographic Industry Association for sales of her albums and singles in Poland. Her best known songs include “Nie daj się”, “Dżaga”, “Szansa”, “Znak pokoju”, “2 bajki”, “Fake Love”, “Melodia ta” and the chart-topping and Diamond-certified single “Nim zajdzie słońce” with Smolasty. Doda rose to fame as a member of the Polish rock band Virgin.
In the interview, she stated that her paternal grandmother was half Lithuanian, while her father Paweł Rabczewski was born in Vilnius, in the Lithuanian SSR. His parents’ names were Leon and Jadwiga Wołkówna. Dorota’s mother’s is called Wanda Rabczewska.
