Ejae, or EJAE, is a Korean-American singer, songwriter, and actress. She provides the singing voice for Rumi in the film KPop Demon Hunters, including the song “Golden,” as part of fictional girl group Huntrix. Rei Ami/Zoey and Audrey Nuna/Mira are also part of Huntrix.
She moved to the U.S. for college, attending NYU.
Ejae’s grandfather is actor, arts patron, film producer, and politician Shin Young-kyun. Shin was born in Pyongsan, Korea, Empire of Japan, now Hwanghae Province, North Korea.
