Windser’s paternal grandfather was Herbert Topf (the son of Sidney Selig Topf and Toby/Tajba/Tobei Nadel). Herbert was born in New York, and a father from Stanislay, Galicia, Austria and a mother from Grodna, Poland.
Windser’s paternal grandmother was Elaine Birnbaum (the daughter of Joseph Birnbaum/Bierenbaum and Ruth Cohen). Elaine was born in New York.
